T is for Turtle

Here is my outfit of the day! We had the district manager come in today and I wanted to be a little more dressed up than usual.

Here are the boots I wore, I love them! They're pretty comfy; they do need to be broken in but gel inserts help a lot for the mean time.

 

Most importantly though... today I want to talk to you about turtles!! Anyone who really knows me, knows I am obsessed!! Heck my car is name Myrtle the Turtle Mobile. I am always pulling over to help turtles stuck in the middle of the road. What can I say? They're my weakness!

 

I just love them!

 

I don't care if they are snapping turtles, painted turtles, soft shell turtles, yellow belly turtles, box turtles, bog turtles, musk turtles, mud turtles, sea turtles, slider turtles, wood turtles... you get the idea! I. Love. Them. All.

 

If I had a pet turtle - oh man... words can't describe how happy I would be! Seriously... my life would almost be complete!

 

I had the pleasure of meeting this snappy looking guy (pun intended **wink wink**). This photo was from 2011 at the lake house. I dubbed him Donatello.

 

Sorry for the short rant, I think about turtles and just get really excited about them! Seriously though - follow my obsession on pinterest.

Ps. My infatuation with these creatures also goes out to tortoises. Good grief, I love them! :)
