Mexican Salad Receipe
For about a week now I have just been craving a salad so I decided to make myself a Mexican Salad! Yum! Get ready because I am going to walk you through step by step!
This is what we have lying around the house so honestly any seasoning will do.
I took these three seasonings and mixed them together on a plate.
Dipped the chicken into the seasoning, then put some olive oil in a pan and added the chicken
Wait until they're nice and brown. They smelt amazing!
While the chicken is cooking, cut up some green onion, a roma tomato, avocado and cilantro and throw them together in a bowl.
Grab a bowl and pour in some ranch dressing and a couple spoonful's of salsa. You can use any kind, I used a Mild Black Bean & Corn Salsa.
Oops I skipped adding more cilantro. Add some cilantro to the dressing and stir it up!
Cut up the chicken into bite size pieces.
Mix the chicken in with the salad. I bought a prepackaged salad at the grocery store.
Add the dressing and mix it all together!
Put some toppings on. I had originally bought tortilla chips but saw this bag near the salads and thought Santa Fe Style strips sounded much better! If you do use chips, throw them in a bag and crush them with your hand so they're bite sized.
Then for the final step... ENJOY!!
This seriously tasted so amazing! I guessed on everything I used so just add whatever you feel will taste best. If you don't like cilantro then leave it out - no big deal, customize it to your liking!
Nom nom nom,
Taryn
