Pregnancy Update & Product Recommendations
Well, I feel like a slacker for not keeping you guys up to date! I've got a lot on my plate and by the end of the work day... I'm exhausted! So here's my update for y'all!
Towards the end of November we found out we're having a baby boy! This picture above is the picture that I used to announce it on social media.
This is my weekly pictures I've been taking since I lasted posted on the blog. Week 25 also has a picture with a sneak peek of what one corner of the nursery looks like!
As far as products go that I highly recommend using on your growing belly would be...
I have found that tummy butter has been a real blessing! As you know, during pregnancy your stomach starts to stretch to accommodate the life growing inside of you. While this is a beautiful and amazing gift... it can be an itchy one. Oils tend to get absorbed into my t-shirts and by the time I would get to work I'd be back to being itchy. Butter on the other hand, while it does tend to leave you feeling "sticky" it literally lasts all day long.
When I am done applying the tummy butter, I add a nice layer of this body oil. It makes me feel extra moisturized and that it just kind of... seals the deal on my stomach. Feels like the moisture is fully locked. I do this "routine" every single morning and every night.
I also have this oil too... which I got because my sister recommended it to me. I purchased this before I discovered the tummy butter. I have continued to keep this as part of my shower routine. So when I'm still in the shower, just turned off the water, my skin is still wet, and then I apply this all over my body. My sister used this during her pregnancies and did not get stretch marks which is why I'm going to continue to use this product even if it isn't just exclusively on my stomach. Although, when I run out of my other oil I will definitely try to apply this oil on top of my tummy butter.
That's my update for you guys!! I hope you enjoyed it! And if you're pregnant definitely try these products I've mentioned above. I'm no longer itchy! Thank goodness!!
I'll be turning 28 weeks pregnant this upcoming Thursday and that just blow my minds because that will put in in my third trimester!! Whaaaaat!!
