Wisconsin Vacation

Hello! Happy hump day! It's such a nice and relaxing morning - even if it is raining and gloomy out. I just like rainy weather, what can I say? Anyway, I just got back from vacation a few days ago. I went up to visit my parents and my brother for about 10 days. It was just what the doctor ordered! I really needed that vacation with all the drama going on right now. It was really nice to get some quality family time in and I also managed to check quite a few things off my bucket list....

When I first got there I was catching the end of the 'Redneck Fishing Trip". This picture doesn't include my niece's fiance or my cousin David who were both out fishing. They had a lot of musky success!

That Sunday everyone left but my cousin David, so we went to the 60th Musky Days Jamboree in Boulder Junction. That was a blast!

We then went kayaking... so glad we had 3 kayaks!

My mom and I went to Ontonagon MI. in the Upper Peninsula.

My brother and I took our dogs for a day of hiking in The Porcupine Mountains in the U.P. of Michigan then spent the night camping there. It was a BLAST!!!

Rj and I rented Stand Up Paddleboards (SUP) and I got to bring Zoey along with her new life jacket! Worked like a charm! She fell off once but that was because I told her to wait before jumping on the pier and she didn't. She missed the pier by about a mile. She listened to the 'Stay' command after that.

I also took Zoey kayaking! I think she loved it! She was a little nervous, just a little, otherwise she was sitting or laying down sleeping. She really does love the water as much as I do!
