Rescue

As you all probably know, Zoey is a rescue dog. Rescue is literally my favorite breed and I could not have asked for a better dog. I love her to pieces! So this brings up a few things that I recently discovered this morning while lounging in bed, wide awake at 5am. There's good news and bad news. Let's start with the bed news....

I discovered this humane society on instagram and read that last night their shelter suffered from a fire. 67 dogs died. They remaining 11 dogs are being treated at a local vet clinic.They currently have all the cats with fosters right now - which is good! But they could really use some help. If you have any extra money you can spare that would be amazing! You can donate HERE on their website otherwise on their facebook page they have two donation buttons which you can check out HERE. If you can't that's not a problem - prayers help just as much! My heart goes out to everyone at that shelter right now.

On to the good news...

I discovered Grounds and Hounds Coffee Co. 20% of your purchase from their store gets donated to a non-kill shelter. Whoop! Whoop! Let's save them puppies! I love coffee. Love. It. And again I love a good rescue! So here's some items that they sell that are just so paw-rific! I had to share:

Well now that my own cup of coffee is room temperature (I get really caught up in passionate posts and kind of forget to keep taking a sip every now and then. Haha), I'm going to go get ready for work and play with my sweet little Zoey!!
