Vince Lombardi

Not once have I ever had the urge to meet any celebrities. I've only met two (Stacey Farber & Lauren Collins) and yes at the time it was exciting.. but it was my friends idea and I just tagged along. There is always that question of "if you could meet any deceased person, who would it be?" My choice is Vince Lombardi.

Maybe being a Green Bay Packer fan (#sorryi'mnotsorry) has inspired me to look a little bit more into the coach, but he has to be one of the best coaches the NFL has seen; if not the best. What an inspirational man.

I was fortunate enough to attend a GBP game and sit at Vince Lombardi's desk!

What it takes to be number one

Vince Lombardi was able to lead the Packers to 5 NFL Championships including Superbowl I and Superbowl II; solidifying him has the greatest coach in football history. His style of teaching and coaching lead the Packers to be the most envied and successful franchise in the 60's. 

Whenever you feel down, just go listen to one of his speeches or read his quotes. Remember a few posts back about how I was putting quotes on my mirror for the week? Well, he has been on my mirror a lot recently. He's my inspiration.
