Home Sweet Home

After I got off work on Saturday Jerry picked me up and we were "City Bound". Really though, we were just going back to the Burbs for 24 hours. We stayed with my moms best friend Marna in down town Geneva IL. 

Jerry and I walked the 3 blocks downtown to a Mexican Restaurant where the margaritas were about 95% tequila and came in a huge glass! No way Jose could I waste that tequila. It was the only thing I could drink all night!

 We then went to Even Flow Music & Spirits where Hooked on Sonics preformed. They were pretty good, the guy went around singing to some of the women in the bar, when I saw him headed my way... I hid. I did, I got behind the line of guys at the bar. I did not want to be serenaded. Nope. Not this girl. 

Afterwards we peeked in the window of Two Boston's to check them out. And then went to Old Town Pub. It was an early night for us but it was a lot of fun!!

You know I went to Caribou Coffee! Duhhhh!! I got myself a Pumpkin White Chocolate Mocha. Couldn't resist, I'm not sure when I'll have Caribou Pumpkin Coffee again. It might be a while... had to take advantage of it!

Then I went to Happy Dog Barkery!!! Home Sweet Home!!! I got to see the majority of my coworkers thanks to this Sunday having an event and a few of m favorite customers. One of my bosses surprised me by being there when she said she wouldn't and she brought Babs!!!! Jerry was like "Hi Babs, I know allllll about you." haha!! She is my favorite chunky monkey!

And of course I stocked up for Fawn. She loves her toys so much! For the past 20 minutes she has been playing with the red, white & blue crinkle ball. I'm actually just finishing my coffee and then I'm going to give her a bath with the new shampoo. The only thing I forgot to get was the pet corrector. But it gives me another excuse to drive back! It did make me a little sad, I loved that job and all my coworkers. If it wasn't a 2 hour commute I would be back there in a heartbeat.
