Home Decor and... Hunting Season?
Well, you all will be proud to know I finally finished reading Deadlocked! It's so nice to cross that off my Good Reads account. Yessss. I'm trying to find the motivation to read City of Glass, just because I am so far behind in my reading that I want to read a shorter book so I feel like I've actually accomplished something, ya know?
This isn't the greatest picture, but I only had my webcam to work with. I got a couple shelves from Jerry's mom and had him add some brackets to them this weekend. We also hung up the two canvas prints I had picked up while visiting my parents in Wisconsin. My mom gave me the candle holders and I put the rocks I collected from Lake Superior at the bottom of them. I also put a sign up on the shelf that says "Hunters Welcome". As well as my homemade floral arrangement. I still need something to go below it though... hmm.
The past few weekends I have traveling around town with Jerry to watch him set up his tree stands for hunting season. He got a new bow and is pretty excited for November 1st to come around.
Jerry will be taking me with him to hunt this season which means I will need to buy myself some camo like this. I never thought I would say this but I am kind of excited? I don't think I will ever be able to shoot a deer, but I wouldn't mind maybe pheasants or turkeys. I always loved archery in junior high too, so maybe this is an activity I can work on anyway.
That's it on my end! Talk to you soon!
Taryn
