Dogs, Passion & Happiness
Good morning world!
This past weekend was a great one! My parents decided to surprise family in West Chicago at a Christmas party. So instead of putting the doggies in a kennel I volunteered Jerry and I to petsit! Yipee!
Scout has aged quite a bit but going strong! I miss cuddling with her and I was glad to be able to do that this weekend.
I convinced my parents to stay all day Monday instead of leaving in the morning like they originally planned.
So my mom and I went shopping in Rockford.
But of course all good things must come to end and you have to say your "goodbyes" and "see ya later".
It kind of got me thinking.....
Which is so true. I'm not saying I have nothing because I have a passionate relationship that I love. But I also feel like I'm not as fulfilled outside of that if that makes sense. I miss Naperville. I miss the variety of people and place and stores - the options are endless.
I love dogs, all of them - they are my world. There is nothing better than a dog.
So, what do you think? Do you think that if you're doing something you hate or doesn't make you happy that you should change it. Including a job, for example. Is it worth it to stick with it if you hate it? Or would it be better to quit even if you don't have another job lined up? I think after a while I can convince myself of my happiness but then when my family and dogs come into town, when they leave its different. My family and dogs are my passion and right now I have neither here or close by.
