Feeling Creative

Hey ya'll and happy Sunday! It's been a pretty productive weekend so far although nothing too exciting. 

I've been writing a lot more recently. The past two years I've tried participating in NaNoWriMo, which I've mentioned in my blog before. To recap it stands for Nation Novel Writers Month, which is in the wonderful month of November. You have that entire month to write a 50,000 word novel. Some might think this is easy... it's not. Haha at least not for me. So why am I bringing this up now?

Well, without my iPod I have less of a distraction. It use to consume my time. I would say to myself "oh I'll just check all my social media pages and just glance at pinterest for a few minutes." Minutes then turned to hours and my day was wasted. Now that I don't have it I have more time to focus on the things that inspire me. And inspired I am.

I'm not going to go into any details of what I am currently working on however, I will tell you this much... I have a really good feeling about this. This is the first time where all I want to do is write. Jerry spent a few hours building a chicken coop for a friend yesterday and Zoey and I just sat in the truck basking in the sun writing non-stop. 

I just thought I would drop by and give you a quick update! If I can leave you with one piece of advice, put down your phone get off your internet and go do something you're passionate about. When you don't have any distractions life's puzzle pieces just kind of... fall into place.
