Graduation & Petsitting

First let me start by saying my niece, Courtney, graduated from Northern Illinois University this past Sunday! What the what!? But that's not all! She graduated with Summa Cum Laude, university honors, 2 majors and a minor all within 3 1/2 years! WOAH! She's one smart cookie! So proud and happy for her! Can't wait to see where grad school takes her! 

In other news, my parents came down for the graduation and ended up staying with us for the weekend. After the graduation they stayed with family friends in Naperville so Jerry and I watched Charlee for them.

I was told once at dog training that by not walking your dog everyday you are doing your dog a great disservice, I have been inspired by those words ever since. I do my best to give back to Zoey, it's the least I can do after all she does for me. So it really was a privilege to get Charlee to be apart of our daily adventures. I can't wait for next week when we spend Christmas in Wisconsin!
