Oh hey...

Man, I am terrible about writing on here and I apologize! I'm trying to get better about it and I just need to push through whatever life throws my way to make sure I get posts up. So let's see... what has been going on in my world as of late?

Jerry turned 30 back in April so I surprised him with a weekend up in Madison! We went to the Marcus Point Cinema to see "A Quiet Place". Such a cool experience and I highly recommend it! They have a bar with food that you can take to your plush recliner seat in the theater! And you can buy a drink at the bar and take it in with you too! Such as the drink pictured above - watermelon margarita! Yassss!!

Then we had an Uber pick us up from our hotel that evening to take us to a place called Eno Vino. I forget what level it's exactly on but it's quite up there and it has an amazing view of the capitol building! Seriously, these pictures don't do it any justice! It was beautiful!

The hotel that we stayed at is called The Edge Water Hotel and it is right on Lake Mendota. Gorgeous views from every direction! The hotel staff were so friendly helping us navigate to our room, the bar and the breakfast cafe and restaurant. I would love to stay here again in the summer because they have a bar/restaurant right on the edge of the lake and it looks like it would be a real good time!

Then towards the end of the month I drove Up North to my brothers house to stay with him and his girlfriend for the weekend. Our parents drove down to join in as well since we thought it was a good idea to meet and celebrate both Rj's and Dad's April birthdays!
We went to Olive Garden! Yum!
Rj and I had also taken our pups to the dog park and then to walk the trail around it - hard to believe there was snow but there was!

Then another weekend I went down to my sisters house because I had seen the other half of my family so I figured I'd keep the family weekends rolling! She was bringing our older brother Pete in for a visit so it was perfect timing!

I've been hanging out with Liv and her kids a lot recently! Which is always so much fun! Those kids are the sweetest little people ever and I love them to pieces!

Other than that I've just been hanging outside with Zoey - from hiking the State Park, going on morning walks to playing fetch in the river! Also Jerry and I have gone out looking for fox dens to set up trail cameras - it's so fun to see pictures of the mama and her babies! So we found TWO dens! And a couple pups! Can't wait to see how the pictures turn out!

That's it for now! I hope you enjoyed!

Love,
T
