Living...

I think I jinxed myself the last post I made. Talking about living life and then I found myself sick with who knows what and spent about a week living on the recliner in front of the TV. I'm still stick, but slowly getting better... I hope. 

This past Thursday Jerry and I packed up my car and drove the 5+ hours to get to my parents in Northern Wisconsin. 

It was pretty cold there too! But absolutely beautiful! I love being near the lake, even if it is frozen! It's so pretty to look at! Not to mention pretty much the best seat to watch the sunrise or sunset.

I realized a little too late that I didn't take any pictures of our Super Bowl party... I made a video on snapchat of it, but, for whatever reason it won't let me load it on here. But it was a lot of fun! It was my mom, dad, aunt, uncle, cousin, and then obviously Jerry and I. Two people were rooting for The Patriots and then the rest were rooting for The Eagles. It was a great game! We were all decked out in sports gear. The majority of us in Packer gear, one in Chicago Bears and then one in Blackhawks. We of course made way too much food! Pretty much that whole weekend we ate more than we probably should have. But hey, isn't that part of what you do on vacation? 

I really didn't take too many pictures because the majority of the time I was photographing the dogs for The Canine Cabin. And then the other time I wasn't doing that I was playing a game of marbles with everyone. It was such a blast!! Those vacation days though... I tell ya. You blink and POOF. Over and you're back home.
