Branson MO: Part 1 - Road Trip Down + 1st Day

Hello! So I just got back from vacation Monday evening, if you didn't guess as to the location by the title..... we were Branson Bound! Here's a recap of the drive there and our first day...

We left my place on Monday,Memorial Day, at 7am. We drove for what seemed like forever until shortly before 5pm we made it to the place to board our dogs. We actually got to the condo's about 6pm I think. My aunt Nancy and Uncle Cheese were there from Arizona (it was their timeshare actually - Thanks guys!) as well at my Aunt Wendy, Uncle Ron and my cousin Dave. Once we got unpacked we went out for Mexican food which is why there is a picture of a margarita - YUM. 

Any who, the first day there consisted of exploring the strip and doing some shopping. The afternoon I decided to explore and found some pretty great lake side locations for our future swimming excursions that you will see in the following posts. I just didn't want to overload everyone with too many pictures.

As a side note... I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend getting a selfie stick. I don't care how "old" or how "cool" you think you are but you need one in your life. Especially for vacations like this. It's hard to get a group shot with a beautiful background; I feel like those pictures are usually way too close to my face and you don't get to see what nature is behind me which is the point of the shot in the first place. Not to mention when you have a large group (we ended up having 10 people total) it's so easy with a selfie stick to include everyone in that picture or having to trust your expensive camera or iPod to a stranger.
