Our Sunday Adventure

Hello everyone! It is currently a Tuesday morning and it is raining. That's Spring for ya, I don't mind although it's slightly disappointing because that means no morning walk. It's okay because I am pet sitting Chloe's dog, Cici, for a week which means her and Zoey are running around doing zoomies! I'll be sure to take some pictures and share them with you. 

In the meantime, I thought I'd share some pictures of our Sunday adventure looking for fox dens (so we could set up a trail cam and get pictures of the pups), asparagus and morels. While we only found half a bagful of morels and no asparagus and no fox dens - it certainly was a lot of fun! 

It was a great day! Literally outside hiking from 10am to 7pm. We came home shortly after noon to grill up some lunch which consisted of steaks, baked potatoes and grilled asparagus (the store bought kind lol) it was delicious! And while we waited for all that to cook Jerry and I worked on the garden for a bit. We just got another load of dirt yesterday so I'll be able to show you pictures soon of the end result once I get the rest of my stuff planted this week!

That's my update for the day! I have to start getting ready for work. Oh that reminds me!! Friday night we went to Shogun in Rockford for a US Bank celebration for our team. We received a $400 gift card so that's how we celebrated. We all even got to bring out significant others. It was seriously SO much fun and I work with some pretty gosh darn awesome people!

And then here's a group shot of our team! I think our motto now is "the team that works together, eats together." We are very food motivated hahaha!!
